CAPP Conferences

Biennial CAPP Canada Symposium

Our biennial CAPP Canada symposium is an opportunity to gather together to advance our shared mission. It runs from a Friday evening to Sunday afternoon and includes talks, discussions, fellowship, prayer and liturgical celebrations.

International & National Conferences

Since its inception CAPP has consistently pursued the goal of studying, spreading and highlighting the message of the Social Doctrine of the Church as it confronts issues of major relevance in today’s world.

To this end CAPP has been holding a series of international and national conferences with the participation of speakers from every part of the world, with religious and ethical approaches diverse but all finalized to the common good of mankind and the promotion of the human person.

One of the main purposes of these conferences is in fact to facilitate a dialogue leading to shared solutions for mankind’s grievous problems, in the belief that social doctrine speaks to all people, whatever their religious and ideal formation, when their shared goal is the pursuance of a common good. That common good which appeals to the sense of responsibility of each one of us, convinced as we are that the future of humanity is increasingly linked to the interdependence of peoples and countries.

CAPP Canada members have opportunities to participate in the annual international conference in Rome or other national conferences, especially those organized by CAPP-USA.
